INCIDENT
INCIDENT - Incident number
When working with entries in the Web Server/400 configuration files
using a manual editor, it is possible to create entries in the file which are duplicates of
other values already defined. This parameter allows you to specify which incident or
instance of the value you wish to modify. If there is no duplication of the value being
changed, the incident will be 1.
It is important to note that, during the removal of an item, incident number will be
defaulted to 1. This will always delete the first incident of the item identified in the
ORIGVAL parameter.
The possible values for this parameter are:
- 1 - The only incident of the value in the configuration file.
- 1-n - The incident number of the value in the configuration file.
While the INCIDENT parameter is available for your use on many CHGWWW... commands,
it is used specifically by the WRKWWWINCL,
WRKWWWICON, and
WRKWWWSCPL commands and
is fairly complex. Use of the change commands should be limited to situations
when the WRKWWWINCL, WRKWWWICON, and WRKWWWSCPL commands cannot be used.
