Index Default View

Description

Enable or disable the creation of dynamic indexes and set their default appearance.

Parameters

View

None: Disables dynamic indexes.
Simple: Causes the simple dynamic index to be presented when a directory URL is specified and the IndexName isn't in that directory. This is more expedient for large directories.
Enhanced: Causes the enhanced dynamic index to be presented when a directory URL is specified and the IndexName isn't in that directory. Enhanced can take much longer to transfer and display.

IncludeViewLinks

On: Includes a hyperlink to the other type of dynamic index. (e.g., if a simple index is in view, a hyperlink is included on the page that will cause the enhanced view to be retrieved.)
Off: Does not include a hyperlink to the other type of dynamic index.

CHGWWWCFG IDXNAME(Simple On)

File Syntax

IndexName View IncludeViewLinks

Only one entry may exist in the master server configuration file. If more than one entry is found, the last one will be used.
