Web Server/400 supports the use of aliases in the URLs sent to it by Web browsers. For example the following 2 links both point to the same document:
/shipped/samples/aliasdir/aliasdoc.html
/aliasdir/aliasdoc.html
This was accomplished by using the WRKWWWALS command. If you enter the command, you can see that an alias was added to map /aliasdir to /shipped/samples/aliasdir. Please see the documentation on aliases for more information.
