A User Directory is a special form of a URL-path that routes the server to a personalized location for Web documents. Any user that has a user profile on the AS/400 can be setup to have their own area that contains Web content. To access the web pages, simply use a URL path that begins /~userprofile where userprofile is replaced by the name of a user profile.
For example, WWWUSER has been setup with a home directory of
/WWWServ/WWWUser. Specifying a URL of
/~WWWUSER/USERDIR.HTM
retrieves document USERDIR.HTM from directory
/WWWServ/WWWUser/PubHTML/.
